1. Before you start
Install while you are on Wi-Fi, before you board. Activation is separate and should happen after landing.
2. Install the eSIM
Pick your device. Steps differ by platform, but the shape is the same: open cellular settings, scan the QR, name the line, and leave data off until you land.
- Settings/Cellular/Add eSIM
- Tap Use QR Code and point the camera at the code from your email.
- Name the plan when prompted.
- Keep your primary line for calls and set the new line as data only after landing.
3. Manual entry alternative
If the QR will not scan, choose manual entry in your cellular settings and enter the SM-DP+ address plus the activation code from your eSIM detail page.
4. After it's installed
The eSIM now lives on your device as an additional line. It will not connect to data until you activate it after landing.
